Create ceramic looking vases. We all have those old clear vases sitting in a cupboard at home. Spray paint them to mimic ceramic. It’s a super great alternative for those of us who aren’t yet in the market for an expensive vase. To paint any sort of glassware, all you need to do is clean it with soap and water, then let it dry thoroughly before spray painting it. Vase needs to be slightly sanded with wet/dry paper, 220 grit. Wipe out the dust after sanding. Use a high gloss white spray paint and with just a few light coats, it turns out super shiny, almost like white ceramic. We don’t recommend washing it in the dishwasher, but if handled carefully, it should last for a while.
